Ingredients for Protein Oatmeal
• Rolled oats: 1/2 cup
• Banana: 1 piece
• Cinnamon: 1/2 teaspoon
• Salt: 1 teaspoon tip
• Low-fat milk: 1 cup
• Egg white: 1 piece
Instructions
1. Place the oats, bananas, cinnamon, and salt in a saucepan.
2. Add the low-fat milk and stir until combined.
3. Place the saucepan over medium-high heat and cook for 6 to 7 minutes until the oats are cooked. Be sure to stir the ingredients several times during cooking to make sure the bananas are fully incorporated into the mixture.
4. Add the egg whites to the mixture and stir constantly. Stirring will prevent the egg whites from cooking and instead turn them into a creamy consistency. This should take 1 to 2 minutes. Finally, pour the prepared oatmeal into a bowl and top it with your desired toppings, such as bananas, strawberries, or peanut butter.
