Pasta with spinach sauce is a delicious and healthy dish that you can easily make at home. Below, we will teach you how to prepare this delicious dish.
Ingredients:
• 250g pasta (any kind, such as fettuccine or penne)
• 250g fresh spinach
• 1 small onion (chopped)
• 2 cloves garlic (chopped)
• 100ml cream or milk
• 2 tbsp olive oil
• Salt and pepper to taste
• Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
• A pinch of nutmeg (optional)
Instructions:
Step 1 (cooking the pasta):
Bring water to a boil in a large pot and add a pinch of salt. Then cook the pasta according to the instructions on the package until tender. Once cooked, drain and set aside.
Step 2 (making the spinach sauce):
In a large pan, heat the olive oil.
- Add the chopped onion to the pan and fry until soft and golden.
- Add the chopped garlic and fry for a few more minutes to release its aroma.
- Add the fresh spinach to the pan and let it soften a little. This usually takes a few minutes.
- Once the spinach is softened, add the cream or milk to the mixture and stir. Let it simmer on low heat for a few minutes until it thickens. Click to make Pakban cream and Pakban low-fat milk.
- Add salt, pepper, and nutmeg (if using) to the mixture.
Step 3 (Mix the pasta with sauce):
Add the drained pasta to the pan and stir well until all the pasta strands are coated with the sauce.

Pour the pasta with spinach sauce into a serving dish and garnish with grated Parmesan cheese and a few basil leaves if desired.
